MPEC 2012 - Y01

Comet C/2012 X2 (PANSTARRS) was discovered on the 12th December, 2012, by the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope.
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 29th October, 2013, at a distance of 4.3 au from the Sun.
