Possible supernova in Vela

A possible magnitude 14.5 Supernova was discovered on the 15th December, 2012, in the galaxy PGC 28234 (ESO213-G002) in the constellation Vela.
The supernova is located 18" west and 27" north from the center of  the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position (J2000): R.A. 09 49 14.71  |  Dec. -47° 54' 45.6''
