UAE's first ever all-women team returns from Nasa

The UAE's first ever all-female team returned after successfully completing on-site space training at Space Centre Houston, organised and coordinated by Space Ed-Ventures.
Space Ed-Ventures, a locally based educational platform and the region's only space exploration programme, organised an once-in-a-lifetime training session for 24 aspiring engineers, researchers and astronauts between the ages of 12 and 18. After a rigorous screening process, the all-girl cohort was selected to train at Space Center Houston.

All-girl space exploration team ready to blast off

Space Ed-Ventures, a locally based educational platform and the region's only space exploration programme, opened applications for an all-girl cohort of aspiring engineers, researchers and astronauts between the ages of 12 and 18 in November. After a rigorous screening process, and weeding through an extensive list of applicants, 24 students have made the cut and are on their way to this once-in-a-lifetime experience at Space Centre Houston.
