NGC 7184 (also ESO 601-9, IRAS 21599-2103, MCG -4-52-9, UGCA 425 and PGC 67904) is a magnitude +11.2 spiral galaxy located 120 million light-years away in the constellation Aquarius.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 28th October 1783. 

Position (J2000): R.A. 22h 02m 39.9s  |  Dec. -20° 48' 45.0"

His first sweep took place on the evening of 23 October 1783 and five nights later he achieved his first success, discovering the galaxy NGC7184 in the constellation Aquarius.
