Supernova 2005lt

A magnitude 15.7 supernova, 2005lt, was discovered on the 10th December, 2005, by the Lick Observatory Supernova Search, in the galaxy MCG +03-30-51, in the constellation Leo.
It is located 24".5 east and 5".4 south of the centre.


Position(2000): R.A. = 11h42m26s.21, Dec. = +20°07'05".0

As yet the type is unknown.
