A magnitude 15.8 supernova, 2005ls, was discovered on the 9th December, 2005, by Mark Armstrong in the galaxy MCG +7-7-1 in the constellation Perseus, located 6".6 west and 2".9 south of it`s centre. As yet the type is unknown
