M6.9 class solar flare - Strong eruption on sunspot 1515 & Big CME (July 8, 2012)

A strong eruption of class M6.9 took place this July 8, 2012, around 16:32 UT (time of maximum). It seems that this is the sunspot 1515, which is the cause of this great eruption, or maybe 1512, which has just passed behind the Sun

Active Region 1515 Releases M6.9 Class Solar Flare

Active Region 1515 released an M6.9 class flare beginning at 12:23 PM EDT and peaking at 12:32 on July 7, 2012. This region has been the source of much solar activity since July 2.
