Asteroid 9766 Bradbury (1992 DZ2) was discovered on the 24th February, 1992 by Spacewatch at Kitt Peak. The asteroid was named in honour of Ray Douglas Bradbury the critically acclaimed science fiction author whose works include The Martian Chronicles and The Illustrated Man.
