Supernova 2005kl has been identified as a type Ic

A magnitude 14.7 supernova 2005kl was discovered on the 22nd November, 2005, by Col druscié Remote Observatory Supernovae Search (CROSS), in the seyfert galaxy NGC 4369, in the constellation Canes Venatici.
It is located 6" west and 4" north of the centre.


As yet the Type is unknown.


R.A. = 12h24m35s.68, Decl. = +39°23'03".5
