 Royal Observatory telescope to be relocated to Canterbury

A telescope from the Royal Observatory in Edinburgh is to be given to a Kent astronomical society.
The ROE Grubb Parsons telescope, which has a half-metre aperture, was built to train students at Edinburgh University.
The university is upgrading its facilities and decided to give the telescope to a society that would make best use of it.
