Ijopega 6°2'S, 145°22'E
Asaro valley, Goroka, Papua-New Guinea
Fall 1975, March 3, 21:45 hrs
Stone. Chondrite. Ordinary (H6), brecciated
Approx. recovered weight: 7.33 kg
A single stone of 7.33kg spiralled down emitting a smoke trail and accompanied by sonic phenomena. It made a hole in soft ground 25m from an eyewitness.

The Ijopega (H6) meteorite fell in Eastern Highlands, Papua New Guinea, on the 3rd March, 1975.
A total mass of 7.33 kg was recovered.
