Tunka, Irkutsk, Buryatia, Russia
Fall 1824, February 18, 07:00 hrs
Stone. Chondrite. Synonym(s): Irkutsk; Tunka; Tunkin
Approx recovered weight: 2 kg
After detonations, a stone of about 2kg was seen to fall. K.E.A. von HofT(1832).

The Tounkin (Stone) meteorite fell in Respublika Buryatiya, Russia, on the 18th February, 1824.
A total mass of 2 kg was recovered.

51° 44'N, 102° 32'E
