Bright lights put Esperance police on space junk alert
Esperance police have been inundated with reports of multi-coloured lights descending to Earth along the coast near the Duke of Orleans Bay early on Tuesday evening. Sen. Sgt Duncan Swadkins said the station received about 20 phone calls from people reportedly seeing the lights - which varied in colour from silver, yellow to red - about 60km east of Esperance.
