Skippy the Bush Kangaroo is an Australian television series for children created by John McCallum, produced from 1966-1968, telling the adventures of a young boy and his intelligent pet kangaroo, in the (fictional) Waratah National Park in Duffys Forest, near Sydney, New South Wales.

Pilot "Man From Space"
Skippy and Sonny come across an injured airman hanging by the cord of his parachute from a tree. Realising that the weight of his body is ripping the parachute and that it is only a matter of time before he falls to his death, Sonny sends Skippy for help.
This pilot was later aired as episode 36 during season 1.
