Veerabhadran Ramanathan is Victor Alderson Professor of Applied Ocean Sciences and director of the Centre for Atmospheric Sciences at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego. He has contributed to many areas of the atmospheric sciences including developments to general circulation models, atmospheric chemistry, and radiative transfer.
