MPEC 2011 - U84

Comet P/2011 U1 (PANSTARRS) was discovered on the 23rd October, 2011, by the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope.
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 29th June, 2012, at a distance of 2.2 AU from the Sun, and an orbital period of 8.76 years.
