A 'very likely' magnitude 15.71 supernova was discovered on the 24th October, 2011, in the galaxy SDSS J095847.74+344711.1 in the constellation Leo Minor by the Catalina Real-Time Transient Survey. The supernova is located 0" east and 0" south from the center of the galaxy. As yet the type is unknown.
