Possible supernova in UGC 02756

A possible magnitude 15.8 supernova was discovered on the 22nd October, 2011, in the galaxy UGC 02756 in the constellation Perseus by Z. Jin and X. Gao.
The supernova is located 2" east and 5" south  from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position (2000):     RA 03 29 35.29 |  Dec +40° 52' 02.9"
z = 0.016882
