MPEC 2011 - Q54

Comet C/2011 Q2 (MCNAUGHT) was discovered on the 26th August, 2011, by R. McNaught (Siding Spring Survey).
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 20th January, 2012, at a distance of 1.36 AU from the Sun.
