The Soyuz TMA-22 spacecraft is scheduled to return to Earth on the 27th April, 2012.

Soyuz TMA-22 is a current flight to the International Space Station (ISS). TMA-22 was the 111th flight of a Soyuz spacecraft, and transported three members of the Expedition 29 crew to the ISS. The spacecraft docked to the ISS on 16 November 2011, and will remain docked to serve as an emergency escape vehicle until late April 2012

The rocket, carrying a US astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts, blasted off from Russia's Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Monday.
It was the first manned launch since an unmanned cargo rocket crashed shortly after launch in August.

Expedition 29 Prepares to Welcome New Crewmates

NASA astronaut Dan Burbank and Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin are scheduled to dock their Soyuz TMA-22 spacecraft with their new home at 12:33 a.m. EST Wednesday and join Expedition 29 Commander Mike Fossum of NASA and Flight Engineers Satoshi Furukawa of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov after the hatches open around 2:55 a.m.

Expedition 29 Launches to the Space Station
 

Expedition 29 Soyuz Commander Anton Shkaplerov, NASA Flight Engineer Dan Burbank and Russian Flight Engineer Anatoly Ivanishin launched on the Russian Soyuz TMA-22 spacecraft on November 14, 2011, (November 13 in the United States) from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to begin a two-day journey to the International Space Station. The trio will dock to the station on November 15, U.S. time, to start a five and a half month tour on the complex, joining station Commander Mike Fossum of NASA, Russian Flight Engineer Sergei Volkov and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency Flight Engineer Satoshi Furukawa, who have been on the outpost since June.

New Space Station Crew Members Launch from Kazakhstan
 
NASA astronaut Dan Burbank and Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin launched to the International Space Station at 11:14 p.m. EST Sunday (10:14 a.m. Kazakhstan time, Monday) from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
Burbank, Shkaplerov and Ivanishin are scheduled to dock their Soyuz TMA-22 spacecraft with their new home at 11:33 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, and join Expedition 29 Commander Mike Fossum of NASA and Flight Engineers Satoshi Furukawa of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov. Fossum will hand over command of the station to the new crew within four days.

Russia resumes manned Soyuz flights after crash

A Russian spacecraft carrying three astronauts - two Russians and one American - has launched successfully from Kazakhstan.
They are the first to travel on a Russian Soyuz craft since a similar unmanned rocket carrying cargo crashed shortly after launch in August.
