Possible supernova in NGC 2273B

A possible magnitude 14.8 supernova was discovered by A. Dimai (Italian Supernovae Search Project) on the 20th August, 2011, in the barred spiral galaxy NGC 2273B in the constellation Lynx.
The supernova is located 60" east and 36" north from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position (2000):     RA 06 46 39.84  |  Dec +60° 21' 02.7"
z = 0.007008
