MPEC 2011 - P19

Comet P/2011 P1 (MCNAUGHT) was discovered on the 1st August, 2011, by R.  McNaught (Siding Spring Survey).
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 24th March, 2009, at a distance of 2.3 AU from the Sun, and a period of 6.32 years.
