The UARS satellite will be visible from the UK from between 23:31 and 23:38 GMT/BST.

Solar activity is no longer the major factor in the satellite's rate of descent. The satellite's orientation or configuration apparently has changed, and that is now slowing its descent.

Ed ~ Observers have reported that the brightness of the satellite is quite changeable, from -3 to 3, which can be explained by a chaotic tumbling of the satellite.
