Independent Spinning Lander Revives as a Universal Moon Hopper

A radical new concept of a robotic lunar explorer has just been revived from its slumber. The Spirit of Southern California, originally designed by the Southern California Selene Group (SCSG), would now be designated as a moon hopping robot, jumping not only on our Earths moon, but possibly hopping onto other moons of other planets within the interplanetary neighbourhood as well.
The Google Lunar X Prize has sparked inspiration for mankind to get back to the moon quickly. However, as a business enterprise, the main goal of the contest was to foster the commercialisation of space.
