A possible magnitude 14.8 supernova was discovered on the 11th June, 2011, by S. Parker in the galaxy ESO 042545-6755.5 in the constellation Hydrus The supernova is located 5" west and 13" north from the center of the galaxy. As yet the type is unknown.
