Joan George Erardus Gijsbertus Voûte (June 7, 1879-August 20, 1963) was a Dutch astronomer.
In 1913 he gained a post at the Cape Observatory in South Africa, where he worked on double stars and parallax measurements. He became a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1917. His preliminary account of the parallax of Proxima Centauri was published in 1917, demonstrating that Proxima was the same distance from the Sun as the Alpha Centauri system.
