Heather Anita Couper CBE CPhys (born 2 June 1949) is a British astronomer who popularised astronomy in the 1980s and 1990s on British television. She is a former president of the British Astronomical Association from 1984 to 1986.
She is the astronomy correspondent for The Independent newspaper.
