Comet C/2011 K1 (Schwartz-Holvorcem) was discovered on the 26th May, 2011, by M. Schwartz and P. R. Holvorcem. The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 19th April, 2011, at a distance of 3.3 AU from the Sun.
