Confirmed
The type IIb magnitude 14.9 supernova, 2011cb, was discovered on the 28th April, 2011, by S. Parker (BOSS), in the galaxy IC 5249 in the constellation Tucana.
The supernova is located 8" east and 7" north from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position(2000):  RA = 22 47 07.00, Dec = -64°49'43.0"
z = 0.007892

A possible magnitude 14.9 supernova was discovered on the 28th April, 2011, in the edge-on galaxy IC 5249 in the constellation Tucana.
The supernova is located 0" east and 0" north from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position(2000):  RA = 22 47 07.00, Dec = -64°49'43.0"
z = 0.007892
