Possible supernova in ARP 265

A possible magnitude 15.3 supernova was discovered by M. Gavin on the 18th March, 2011, in the galaxy ARP 265 (IC 3862) in the constellation Canes Venatici.
The supernova is located 0" east and 6"  north from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position(2000): RA = 12 53 53.43, Dec = 36°05'19.2"
z = ?
