Hebridean Science Festival 2012
8th - 17th March

The Hebridean Science Festival is back! This year's festival promises to be even bigger and better than last year. Participants include former Buzzçocks John Maher, who now builds VW Beetle engines. Mr Boom will be returning to the islands to entertain the younger children, and a number of local businesses are taking part. Autoparts, Scottish Water, the Scottish Salmon Company, Kiwi's Garage, Explore Science Scotland and SEPA are among those contributing.

Return of the Hebridean Science Festival

After a very successful inaugural festival last year, the second Hebridean Science Festival returns next week and aims to be even bigger and better.
Taking place from March 17 to 19, the festival will see workshops and talks run by groups and individuals from all over the country, with events for both adults and children
