A possible magnitude 15.9 supernova was discovered by S. Parker on the 27th February, 2011, in the galaxy NGC 4219 in the constellation Centaurus. The supernova is located 11.9" west and 6.5" north from the center of the galaxy. As yet they type is unknown.
