Anniversary of the Kosmos 110 Launch, on the 22nd February, 1966.

The Soviet biosatellite program began in 1966 with Cosmos 110, and resumed in 1973 with Cosmos 605. Cooperation in space ventures between the U.S.S.R. and the U.S. was initiated in 1971, with the signing of the U.S./U.S.S.R. Science and Applications Agreement (which included an agreement on space research cooperation).

Anniversary (1966) of the Kosmos 110 Launch, on the 22nd February, 2011.

Kosmos 110 was a Soviet spacecraft launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome aboard a Soyuz rocket. It incorporated a re-entry body (capsule) for landing scientific instruments and test objects. It was a biological satellite that made a sustained biomedical experiment with the dogs Veterok and Ugolyok, after 22 days in orbit around the Earth, they were safely landed.
