Supernova 2011B

A magnitude 12.9 type Ia supernova, 2011B, was discovered on the 7th January, 2011, by K. Itagaki ans M. Tsuboi (Japan) in the galaxy NGC 2655 in the constellation Camelopardalis.
The supernova is located 31.7" east and 21.4" south from the center of the galaxy.

Position (2000):  RA = 08 55 48.50, Dec = +78°13'02".7
