A magnitude 16.1 extragalactic nova, M33 2010 - 11a, was discovered on the 27th November by J. Ruan and X. Gao in the galaxy M33 in the constellation Triangulum. The nova is located 301" west and 1329" south from the center of the galaxy

Jiangao Ruan(Fangchenggang, Guangxi, China) and Xing Gao (Urumqi, Xinjiang, China), report the discovery of a possible nova (mag approximately 18.6) on several 60-s survey images (limiting mag about 19.5) taken by Xing Gao in Xingming Observatory Sky Survey(C42) around Nov. 27.52970 UT using a unfilled CCD ( + Celestron C14 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope D=356-mm @f/6.9 ).
