Baldwin-Wallace College houses a little-known gem: a refractory telescope

Harry Smythe waited on the stairway with other visitors Friday night at the Burrell Memorial Observatory Open House.
The Olmsted Falls resident has an interest in astronomy and attended the one-hour lecture that prompted about 60 people, including students, to visit the Baldwin-Wallace College campus and view Jupiter through the refracting telescope.
