This new image taken by the Hubble Space Telescope show the globular cluster known as NGC 1806. Comprised of tens of thousands of stars,  it sits within the Large Magellanic Cloud - a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way - and was first seen by the British astronomer John Herschel in 1806.
