A Roscosmos team is to starting launch preparations of the manned spaceship Soyuz TMA-7 today; the spaceship was.

The Soyuz was delivered by railway to the Baikonur Assembly & Test Facility of Site 254 on the 6th August, and placed into the stand.

At the moment Roscosmos team is preparing to perform electrical tests.

Soyuz TMA-7 is scheduled for launch to the International Space Station with the main crew of Expedition 12 aboard - V. Tokarev and W. McArthur (back-up crew - А. Lazutkin and J. Williams) and the space tourist G. Olsen from Site 1 of Baikonur on the 1st October 2005.
