The University of Leicester's sports ground in Oadby becomes a miniature Cape Kennedy today as teams from schools around the country compete in the final of the UK Aerospace Youth Rocketry Challenge (UKAYRoC). The challenge, open to teams of students between the ages of 11 and 18, is to design, construct and launch a rocket which is capable of carrying a payload to a specific height and returning it safely to Earth.
