The Launch Readiness Review (RAL) took place in Kourou on Monday, June 21, 2010 and authorised count-down operations for the Arabsat 5A & COMS.
For its second launch of the year, Arianespace will orbit the Arabsat 5A communications satellite for operator Arabsat, and the COMS multi-mission satellite for the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI).

It will be launched from the Ariane launch complex N° 3 (ELA3), in Kourou, French Guiana.

An Ariane 5 rocket is scheduled to launch the Arabsat 5A and COMS 1 satellites from Kourou, French Guiana, at 21:41 GMT, 23rd June, 2010.
