The year 2010 promises to be a big one for stargazing in this region. All of the visible planets make good showings this year, two great meteor showers bloom, and a total lunar eclipse rounds it all out. First, make a date with Mars. The Red Planet returns to the evening skies this month after a two-year hiatus on the other side of the solar system.
