Supernova 2009na

A magnitude 15.3 supernova, 2009na, was discovered by J. Newton and T. Puckett, on the 26th December, 2009, in the spiral galaxy UGC 5884 in the constellation Leo Minor.
The supernova is located 15.8" West and  2.7" North from the centre of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position (2000): RA 10h47m01s.42, Dec +26°32'38".1
z = 0.020994
