Confirmed:
Supernova 2009mk, was discovered by S. Parker on the 15th December, 2009.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position(2000): RA 00 06 21.37, Dec -41 28 59.8

Possible supernova in Phoenix

A possible magnitude 15.3 supernova was discovered on the 15th December, 2009, in an anonymous galaxy in the constellation Phoenix.
The supernova is located 16 East and 60 North from the center of the galaxy.
