Hildene to host astronomy event
On Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m., beginning in the Beckwith Room, Hildene will host an astronomy event to include a visit to the home's historic observatory. Burr and Burton Academy teacher Bill Muench will present a power point on "Space and Time." Following the presentation the group will visit Robert Todd Lincoln's historic observatory where, weather permitting, they will catch a view of happenings in the summer night sky.
