Arran residents and holidaymakers will have a unique opportunity to learn a little about the worlds most advanced project in astronomy in the Ormidale Pavilion next week.
Dr Richard Prestage will be giving a talk on a revolutionary new telescope being built at an altitude of 16,500 feet in the Chilean Andes.
The talk is next Friday July 3 at 7.30pm in the Ormidale Pavilion. Tickets are available at the Book and Card Centre or at the door.
