* Astronomy

A magnitude 13.8, type Ia  supernova, 2009fj, was discovered on the 27th May, 2009, by Pignata et al. (CHASE) in the spiral galaxy PGC 38391 (ESO 267-16) in the constellation Centaurus. 
The supernova is located 2" east and 40" south from the center of  the galaxy.
