Kennewick High sophomore Akshai Baskaran will have a near-Earth asteroid named after him after he won one of the top prizes at an international science fair.
He competed at the 2009 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Reno, Nevada, the largest pre-college science and engineering fair in the world.
