We attended the Mountain Skies Astronomical Society (MSAS) astronomy night through our home schooling Charter Sky Mountain.  MSAS is located in Lake Arrowhead, CA. and is worth the ninety mile trip.  It is a small non-profit observatory that has a full telescope that can allow you to see 300 times greater than the naked eye.  What does this mean?  It means that on a clear night like we had on our visit, that you can see Saturn crystal clear and a few of its moons.  Not bad for $7.00 for children (over 17) and $5.00 for children (under 16).
