Supernova 2009er

Confirmed
A  magnitude 17.5 supernova,  2009er, was discovered by S. Maticic in an anonymous galaxy in the constellation Corona Borealis on the 24th May 2009
The supernova is located 8" west and 9" south from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position(2000): RA  15 39 29.84, Dec  +24 26 05.3
