Arianespace launches new "VideoCorner" WebTV
Seven years after rolling out its VideoCorner website, Arianespace today announced the launch of its brand-new WebTV, which officially went online on February 8, 2009.
The site's graphic standards were adapted to meet the new specific requirements, and provide a clear and attractive presentation of all video content available to users.
The site also applies the "3 click" rule: no more than three clicks are needed to find information. This was made possible by more efficiently structuring the site.
All video content on the site, whether transmitted live or delayed, is now accessible in Adobe® Flash® Media format to facilitate viewing of webcasts of launches from the Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana. The Windows Media format was also retained as an alternative viewing mode for live broadcasts.
